Leading lubricants manufacturer adopts Salesforce's new Manufacturing Cloud with Fullcrm
A leading Australian lubricants manufacturer has taken a step towards streamlining customer management processes, achieving commercial excellence and empowering teams by implementing Salesforce’s new Manufacturing Cloud – becoming the first in the Australian and New Zealand region.
As a long-time Salesforce consulting partner, Fullcrm supports this adoption by collaborating with the manufacturer to optimise their use of the platform to unlock its full capabilities and increase operational efficiency by creating a clear, united view of their customer.
Earlier this year, the Australian manufacturer engaged Fullcrm to implement Salesforce as part of an extensive upgrade to its IT infrastructure to become a world-class company, particularly in information capture, storage, usage, and management across their commercial operations.
As a rapidly growing business, this manufacturer saw the need to adapt to the changing times and an increasing customer base, so it sought to find a way to implement the gold standard of CRM platforms in the manufacturing industry – Salesforce.
Reviewing the manufacturer’s criteria for upgrading, Salesforce and Fullcrm worked together to propose Salesforce’s Manufacturing Cloud as the solution.
Manufacturing Cloud is an industry-specific product designed to deliver a new level of business visibility and collaboration between manufacturing companies’ sales and operations teams. The Salesforce manufacturing CRM product provides a holistic view of customers through powerful new sales agreements and account-based forecasting solutions, empowering businesses to generate more robust sales forecasts.
The lubricants manufacturer accepted that Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud was the appropriate solution for their business. Upon reviewing several implementation partners, the manufacturer established that Fullcrm had the experience and methodology to provide management with confidence in their effective execution of Salesforce into the business most efficiently and professionally.
The adoption of Manufacturing Cloud is a significant milestone for both Fullcrm and Salesforce in Australia, as it represents the first implementation of this product in ANZ since its launch.
Before engaging Fullcrm, the manufacturer used multiple systems to collect essential customer information and interactions, making tracking and reporting time-consuming and subject to inaccuracies. Currently in the implementation stage with Fullcrm, Manufacturing Cloud is set to make a significant difference for the leading manufacturer through increased efficiencies, elevated customer experiences and streamlined processes. Its key features include Sales Agreements and Account-Based Forecasting that they can utilise.
“The immediate goal is to streamline a holistic process that’s consistent and efficient for every member of the organisation,” says Peter Breusch, Fullcrm Sales Director. “Before Manufacturing Cloud, each individual employed different strategies. The vision now is to establish a standard process, not just to increase organisational efficiency but to elevate the customer experience consistently.”
“We decided to implement Salesforce to improve intimacy with our customers,” says a company executive. “As our company grows, it has become necessary to consolidate all intellectual property into one single platform that’s accessible and easy to use”
The undertaking of this project is set to revolutionise organisational processes within the manufacturers business and allow them to deliver the same high-quality service for their clients across Australia through a streamlined process powered by Manufacturing Cloud.
This inaugural project will set the precedence for many more Manufacturing Cloud implementations in Australia and New Zealand going forward.
