Use Salesforce partner navigator program to find the right consulting partner
Salesforce offers a vast range of products and innovation to suit many different business requirements across various industries. Businesses purchase Salesforce over other products because of its proven success globally.
When implementing Salesforce for a company, the solution needs to be tailored to your exact organisational needs to get optimal use out of your investment.
Some businesses make the mistake of only hiring an administrator to conduct the implementation or decide to take on the project themselves. This approach can lead to poor results, as the administrator role is suited to handling everyday Salesforce activities rather than customising Salesforce or performing development.
Salesforce recommends using an official consulting partner (like Fullcrm) for the implementation to maximise the value of your investment by leveraging the partner’s product and industry expertise to ensure the solution meets your businesses exact requirements.

How to find the right consulting partner for your business?
Start with the Salesforce AppExchange; this is where certified Salesforce consulting partners are listed.
The AppExchange acts as a directory to help businesses find Salesforce consulting partners suited to their requirements based on their product knowledge, industry expertise, region, certification and customer satisfaction.
How to know you have found the right fit for your project on the AppExchange?
There are over 1,700 consulting partners globally and 181 in Australia listed on the AppExchange. With the Salesforce product range being extensive, it can be difficult for customers to know which is the right fit. To combat this, Salesforce developed a program called Salesforce Partner Navigator to objectively measure consulting partners based on their expertise and help customers quickly identify the right fit for their requirements.
What is the Salesforce Partner Navigator Program based on:
Salesforce-based their navigator program on three accreditation levels awarded to partners based on experience with products, industries and services.
Salesforce awards accreditations based on a partner’s achievements in the following areas:
- Knowledge: the partner’s technical understanding of the Salesforce product measured through earned Salesforce credentials such as verified certifications.
- Experience: the number of completed projects by the partner for customers in specific fields over the last two years.
- Quality: the consistency in which partners deliver success to their customers through customer satisfaction scores
Accreditation levels awarded by Salesforce:
Expert (highest): verified by Salesforce to be thought leaders in a cloud or industry vertical. The partner can handle the largest and most complex projects and achieve the highest standards of customer success.
- Achieved multiple Level II specialisation subcategories
Level II Specialist: verified to Salesforce to have the knowledge and experience to deliver on complex projects in a cloud or industry vertical while maintaining high levels of customer success.
- Earned five or more certifications
- Completed ten projects in the field over the past 2 years
- Earned an average customer satisfaction score of 4.4 or greater for those projects
Level I Specialist: verified to Salesforce that they possess the knowledge to deliver customer success in a cloud or industry vertical.
- Earned one or more certifications
- Completed three projects in the field over the past 2 years
- Earned an average customer satisfaction score of 4.2 or greater for those projects
Where is this navigator program information displayed in the AppExchange?
The consultant finder or filter criteria available for searching partners use Salesforce’s navigator program results to return the best option for you.
Once you find a specific consultant and select the listing, you can find the accreditation status from the middle tab labelled expertise.
A partner’s listing also provides other valuable information such as an overview of their business, products and services offered, projects completed, contact details, certified potentials, customer ratings and reviews.
